CANOEING
Come and discover Alsace in a different way during one day of canoeing on the different Alsatian river.Every expeditions are available on Sundays.
Group expeditions (6 people minimum) are carried out every days on the river of your choice. Lunch break is not included.
Below is a description of different available excursions :
L'Ill et la Petite Ill (Erstein - Ostwald):
This circuit allows you t discover the Petite Ill. You will go through a forest zone to eventually reach Strasbourg.
Le Rhin Tortu (Plobsheim - Strasbourg):
Nice river whiwh goes through the Neuhof forest. Nature and change of scene guaranteed just beside Strasbourg!
La Moder (Drusenheim - Neuhaeusel):
Nice wild and easy circuit on the Moder river. You will go canoeing and discovering the Alsatian environement, it is a nature reserve.
La Zorn (close to Hochfelden):
Nice river, sometimes bracing, which goes through Alsatian meadows. Blockages and protages are on menu (Intermediate level).
La Zembs (Rossfeld - Herbsheim):
Very nice river connecting the river Ill network to the river Rhine network. Narrow and sometimes blocked, you have to manage to sail alone.

Le Blauwasser ( Beside Marckolsheim, on the German side):
The exceptional beauty of two ground water recrudescences can be seen on this narrow river which goes through an Alsatian forest.

Le Bornen (Selestat - Sermersheim):
It is a very nice forest circuit. You will discover a small ground water river; it flows in the Bornen.
Several departure places are available according to the time you want to dedicate to the excursion and the technical level you have.
Le Bennwasser (Illhausern - Ebermunster)
It is one of the main river in Center Alsace that goes through the Ilwald. This river offers different ways with almost the same length, but always in forest, which means in the shade during summer time.
It is possible to go to a typical mill.
Le Rheinweg (Beside Selestat):
This spring river goes through the Ill forest and the city of Selestat. It is the last forest in France where wild deers live.
For intermediate level.
L'Istergraben / Brunnwasser (Friesenheim - Gerstheim)
They are two nice rivers to explore. The first river is narrow and a little blocked, the second river is wider in the reed bed passage. This circuit is perfect for all people in love with nature.
